Aga qualified from Peninsula Dental School in 2015. She spent three years working as general dental practitioner in Exeter as well as delivering emergency treatment to phobic patients in Dental Access Centre, Plymouth before joining our practice in 2019.
Aga has a gentle and caring approach and aims to deliver patient centered dentistry. Aga offers all aspects of dental care and her working philosophy is tooth preservation and minimal invasive dentistry. She has special interest in root canal treatment and she is currently studying for Postgraduate Diploma in Endodontics in King’s College, London.
Aga is trained in Bioclear method in which white composite material is wrapped around a tooth using special, technologically advanced mylar matrices. Composite is heated to properly form a fully functional, beautiful tooth. She is certified Invisalign provider and facial aesthetics (wrinkle treatment) provider.
Before turning to dentistry, Aga obtained master degree in Laboratory medicine and worked as scientist at National Institute for Medical Research, London. Outside of work Aga is a busy mum of two young children. She loves spending time with her family exploring beautiful Devon countryside. She always has a project on the go, furniture restoration, sofa reupholstering or crocheting to name a few.
Katherine qualified in Plymouth 2020, she moved to Devon from Bournemouth 6 years ago to start her career in Dentistry. She has a passion for composites and extractions and has recently started an Endodontics course. Katherine has a really calming chair-side manner and enjoys helping you restoring your smile. Katherine will also be completing a facial aesthetics course in anti-wrinkle treatments and filler.
In her spare time she enjoys paddle boarding, socialising with friends and family, eating out and exploring new areas of Devon.
Michael qualified in 2016 from the University of Bristol, and has since worked in London, Bristol and in various areas within Devon. He enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including, but not limited to, restorative work, oral surgery, short term orthodontics, and implant work. Working with anxious patients is something he thoroughly enjoys; making people feel as comfortable as possible on the day. Michael is also a qualified sedationist.
In his spare time Michael enjoys kitesurfing, cycling, swimming, and is an automotive fanatic.
Ed qualified from the Newcastle University in 2018 and joined the Team at Quality dental Care in 2020. He believes all treatment should be patient centred, tailoring all treatment plans to the individual and working together with patients to choose the best options for them. Ed regularly undertakes continuous training and has enrolled on the postgraduate Restorative Dentistry MSc course at Plymouth University. He is passionate about his work and his calm approach makes his patients feel at ease during all of their visits.
Outside of work, Ed enjoys paddle boarding, cycling, walking in the countryside, and spending time with friends and family.
Michael qualified from Plymouth University 2019. Before starting at Quality Dental, Care he worked at a couple of other practices in Devon.
He is a dedicated, enthusiastic Dentist that enjoys all aspects of dentistry, in particular, Endodontics and restorative work. He is committed to developing further as a Dentist and is currently training in Quick Straight Teeth (fixed short term orthodontics). He has an interest in Biomimetic dentistry, which follows his working philosophy of minimally invasive dentistry and tooth preservation. He has a calm, considered approach when treating patients and has great empathy for anxious patients.
Outside of dentistry he is an avid foodie, he enjoys staying active by road cycling, paddleboarding, climbing and coastal walks in the beautiful Devon countryside.
Hannah qualified as a Dental Hygienist from Cardiff University in 2014. She is highly experienced in the treatment and management of gum disease – the biggest cause of tooth loss. Hannah is also able to improve the cosmetic appearance of teeth by carrying out tooth whitening. Hannah also carries out facial aesthetics including Botox and Fillers. She enjoys working with nervous patients and aims to make every patient’s visit to the hygienist a pleasant experience.
Outside of work, she has a passion for travelling, photography and music. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, friends and miniature dachshund Floyd.
Louisa qualified as a Dental Hygiene Therapist and qualified in Bristol Dental Hospital in 2009. Being a Therapist means Louisa can deliver routine composite fillings on children that visit us. She has a very kind and caring nature and instantly makes our patients feel at ease.
Louisa has been married for 7 years and has two young children. In her spare time she enjoys going to the Theatre and doing water sports.
Laura qualified as a dental nurse in 2007 but went on to do further study to become a Dental Therapist. In 2014 she qualified from Teesside University with BSc Hons Degree in Dental Hygiene & Therapy. Laura started at Quality Dental Care In November 2021. She holds a caring, gentle and sympathetic manner and is a strong believer in preventative dentistry. Laura is known to her colleagues as a perfectionist and for her upbeat and bubbly personality.
Amy been a qualified dental nurse for nearly 6 years, undergoing various extended qualifications in radiography, impression taking, implantology and Invisalign training. Finally developing on to becoming Lead Dental Nurse at Quality Dental. Amy thoroughly enjoys being a big part of giving patients the perfect smile and seeing their self confidence grow.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family and friends, attending the gym and going out paddle boarding where she can. She is also working on her Mobile Make Up business, established in August 2020.
Nichola started her career in dentistry in 2003 and qualified as a dental nurse in 2005 with an NVQ level 3 in Oral Health Care: Dental Nursing. She enjoys all aspects of dentistry and is always looking to learn new things and expand her knowledge to help give the best chair-side support. Since qualifying, Nichola has gained post registration qualifications in Oral Health Education in 2007, Dental Radiography in 2013 and qualified as a Level 2 Infection Control Lead in 2020. She really enjoys assisting clinicians in supporting patients to achieve their dream smile.
In her spare time, she enjoys baking, walking on the Moors and along the South West coastal path, running and travelling.
Tracey joined Quality Dental Care in 2020, she has been a dental nurse for 16 years, she absolutely loves her job. Tracey has 6 grandchildren so she is very warm and caring towards nervous children and adults.
In her spare time she likes to ride her bike and go travelling in her motorhome.
Liz has been in the dental business for over 40 years, with 16 years chair-side experience as a Dental Nurse. From 2011 to 2015 Liz was a tutor for the NEBDN course by Smile Teaching and Training, as being the internal Moderator for the student nurses. She decided to hang up her scrubs to join the reception team at our sister practices in Ashburton & Plymouth. Liz joined Quality Dental Care in 2017.
When not working, she enjoys going to the races and spending time with friends and her godchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys baking, walking on the Moors and along the South West coastal path, running and travelling.
Rebecca is our part time receptionist and has recently become Practice Co-Ordinator. Rebecca has over 25 years experience in Dental Administration, where she worked her way up to manage several practices both NHS and private.
When Rebecca is not working you will find her enjoying a sunny day in the sea and at local beaches.
Sarah started Dental Nursing in 2011 and has an NEBDN qualification, she’s also trained in Fluoride Application and Plaque & Debris Scoring on Children & Adults. Sarah started managing dental practices in 2017. She joined Dentex in 2019 and now manages two practices within the group. Sarah has a real passion for compliance and ensuring that her practices have the highest standards in patient care.
In her spare time, Sarah enjoys baking, spending time with friends, eating out and exploring new walks with her dog.
